Slope first, then the pit: Presale for Full Metal Mayrhofen 2026
Last updated on 08.07.2025
Full Metal Mayrhofen melds Metal festival and alpine winter sports

Stage diving in the snow: From 23 to 28 March 2026, the Zillertal will once more become the filthiest slope in the world. Full Metal Mayrhofen is gearing up for its second downhill run and bringing top acts such as In Extremo, Donots, Emil Bulls, Beyond The Black and Paleface Swiss to the Alps, more bands to be announced. The Mayrhofen-Hippach holiday region will again become a mosh pit sanctuary where visitors can headbang surrounded by fresh mountain air. The mountain calls – and it’s pretty loud! But that’s not all: In addition to a wintery Wall of Death, visitors can enjoy a wide range of sports. Whether on skis, snowboards or Toboggan: black slopes and black shirts are a perfect match. Those who want to take a break from moshing or are worried about headbanging-related neck injuries can look forward to numerous wellness and spa offers – ever swapped a wall of sound for singing bowls? There will also be Metal yoga classes and a rich culinary offering, providing plenty of opportunities to chill out and relax.
Presale for Full Metal Mayrhofen 2026 (23 to 28 March) starts now, Tickets are available HERE.

“Full Metal Mayrhofen 2025 has proven that the Zillertal is exactly the right place for us,“ explains Jan Struve, managing director of Full Entertainment GmbH, which specialises in the conception, production and implementation of extraordinary event holiday offers with live music. “The backdrop here is simply mind-blowing – and it was great to see Metal fans enjoy a bit of Après-ski. The cooperation with local partners went really smoothly and we look forward to further developing this special event together. The Zillertal and Metal are simply a perfect match!“
Andreas Lackner, managing director of the Mayrhofen Tourist Board and card-carrying Metal community member, is also looking forward to the second edition of Full Metal Mayrhofen: “The response to Full Metal Mayrhofen 2025 was overwhelming – and proof for us as a region that Metal and the Alpine backdrop go together wonderfully. The fact that we can start with the presale much earlier for 2026 is not only a sign of how well the concept has been received, but also gives our guests more time to prepare for this very special festival experience in the heart of the Zillertal mountains.“
