Spring Skiing with Guaranteed Laughs – Altitude Comedy Festival 2026 in Mayrhofen
Last updated on 19.03.2026
From 30 March to 3 April 2026, the Mayrhofen-Hippach holiday region once again hosts the “Funniest Show on Snow”. The Altitude Comedy Festival returns to the Zillertal Valley, bringing top comedians from around the globe and rising stars from the English-speaking comedy scene to the mountains of Tyrol.

This multi-award-winning festival is one of Europe’s best-loved winter comedy events, combining first-class live stand-up with world-class alpine skiing. By day, guests carve their way down the perfectly groomed slopes of Ahorn and Penken. By night, the village centre turns into a comedy playground, with shows taking place across a variety of epic venues.
What makes Altitude so special is its famously relaxed atmosphere. Comedians and audiences don’t just cross paths on stage – they also bump into each other on the slopes, share chairlifts, and swap laughs over après-ski drinks. It’s this unique mix of mountain adventure and evening entertainment that has made the festival a firm favourite on the international events calendar.
Each night features a packed programme of shows – from après-ski comedy sets and headline gala performances to late-night stand-up sessions. Visitors can also look forward to extra festival fun, including podcasts, improv comedy, silent discos and the legendary “Clown Hill Race”.
