ELLMAU / HARTKAISER. Ellmi’s Magic World on Hartkaiser is celebrating its 20th anniversary. Since its opening on 24 June 2006, this enchanting mountain attraction has invited families to step into a magical forest, solve mystical puzzles and discover different playgrounds, all surrounded by the stunning backdrop of the Tyrolean Alps. Over the past two decades, Ellmi’s Magic World has continued to grow and evolve. Today, visitors of all ages can enjoy a wide variety of interactive adventure stations brought to life with the help of an Ellmi Coin. Each stop presents a fun challenge, encouraging children and adults alike to solve puzzles and learn fascinating facts about nature and the mountains. The experience is complemented by offered activities such as gold panning and carving traditional walking or magic wands. Access to the Hartkaiser has also changed considerably over the last 20 years. When Ellmi’s Magic World first opened, guests travelled up the mountain on the Hartkaiser funicular. Today, the modern Hartkaiser gondola provides a comfortable journey directly to the attraction, located at an altitude of 1,550 metres. Since its launch, Ellmi’s Magic World has been part of the Mountain theme parks of the Wilder Kaiser–Brixental summer mountain lifts. It can be reached by gondola with a single-ride ticket for the Hartkaiser gondola, or with the regional Mountain Experience-Card or Kitzbühel Alps Summer Card, which include several lifts

Hartkaiser mountain in Ellmau is much more than a summer destination. In winter, the mountain offers walking trails that begin right outside the top station of the Hartkaiser gondola, winding through snow-covered landscapes with breathtaking views of the Wilder Kaiser mountain range. During Christmas season, the magical forest is transformed into the atmospheric “Bergadvent” mountain Christmas market. At night, visitors can stroll along a torch-lit path lined with cosy wooden huts serving seasonal treats, accompanied by festive music.
