Crankworx Innsbruck 2019: World tour’s only stop in Europe

Crankworx Innsbruck goes into overdrive, with mounting excitement in anticipation of the world’s largest gravity mountain bike festival. From 12 to 16 June 2019, mountain bike fans from near and far will be able to enjoy an exuberant festival atmosphere, spectacular contests, breathtaking jumps by the professionals, a new competition and a wide-ranging support programme at Bikepark Innsbruck. Crankworx Innsbruck 2019 offers the only chance to watch the popular festival live in Europe.

In addition to Rotorua in New Zealand and Whistler in Canada, in 2019 for the third time Innsbruck will be a stop on the tour the world’s largest gravity mountain bike festival. And in 2019 it will be the first time that this is the only stop in Europe. Visitors from all over the world will enjoy the thrills of spectacular events such as Slopestyle, Pumptrack, Whip-Off, Dual Speed and Style or Downhill, not forgetting the exuberant festival atmosphere and an extensive support programme. Kidsworx will also have their own programme for children, where even the little ones will be able to test their skills on the bike and pick up handy tips.

In 2019 the Dual Slalom competition will be held in Innsbruck for the first time. The infrastructure, to be built for this purpose but which will then be available for everyone to use, is yet another contribution to the ongoing improvement of the range of offers at Bikepark Innsbruck. Thanks to Crankworx, development of infrastructure in Innsbruck has continued apace in the last few years. Last year Bikepark Innsbruck managed a coup with the new “The Chainless One” trail. No wonder, then, that Bikepark Innsbruck is a Gravity Card partner, enabling you to explore the 20 best bike parks in Europe with just one ticket.
