Chairman Cup Stubai 2026: Fifth anniversary, two tournament weekends and an international field of participants

In May 2026, the Stubai Valley will become the centre of international children’s football for the fifth time. The grand finale of the Chairman Cup, one of the most renowned football tournaments for children in the U10 and U11 age groups, will once again take place in Neustift in the Stubai Valley – and for the second time on two consecutive weekends. From 22 to 24 May 2026, the best U10 teams will compete, followed by the U11 teams from 29 to 31 May 2026.
At the sports facility at Lake Kampl, junior teams from ten different European nations will once again compete against each other. Numerous top teams will once again be taking part, including Red Bull Salzburg, Olympiacos Piraeus, Parma Calcio and Barca Academy Zurich. On both tournament weekends together, hundreds of children and their family members are expected in the Stubai Valley.
“The goal we set ourselves five years ago to develop the Chairman Cup into a truly international event has been achieved. The five years with a lot of commitment and great organizational effort have paid off – and it is a great pleasure to see how coveted and grown the tournament is now,” explains organizer Manuel Pfurtscheller.
The chairman of the Stubai Tirol Tourism Association, Adrian Siller, is also enthusiastic about the development of the tournament. “It is of unimaginable value for our region to be able to host such an event. If we can create such great moments among young guests, which are made possible by the Chairman Cup, then they will always remember the wonderful time in the Stubai Valley – and hopefully stop by again in the future,” he emphasizes the importance for the future.
The Chairman Cup Stubai is much more than just a football tournament. The focus is on international encounters, fair play and the shared experience. Young talents gain valuable playing experience, make friends across national borders and experience a weekend that will be remembered far beyond the sport.
The tournament starts on both weekends on Fridays with a festive opening ceremony and the group draw at the Neustift village square. The specially composed Chairman Cup song will not be missing The group matches will follow on Saturdays, before the knockout matches and the grand final are on the programme on Sundays.
Spectators are welcome to watch the games live and cheer on the next generation of football stars on site.
