Unforgettable moments in nature and exciting cultural highlights in combination with a regional culinary offer: The mountain summer in the Stubai Valley is all about enjoyment, tradition and a relaxed atmosphere. It offers the perfect setting to create new holiday memories far away from the hustle and bustle.

A walk or a hike through the Stubai Alps, relaxation at one of the mountain lakes, an excursion by bike or a discovery tour with the whole family – the Stubai Valley, only 20 minutes by car from Innsbruck, offers a wide range of possibilities for young and old. Exciting events around the themes of enjoyment , music and tradition round off the warm season in the region.

An incomparable hiking experience in the Schlick 2000

In the Schlick 2000 hiking centre in Fulpmes, early risers can experience a true spectacle of nature: In atmospheric surroundings, the day begins with a mountain breakfast buffet in the Panorama Restaurant Kreuzjoch or with the popular sunrise yoga. The Schlick 2000 is also the perfect starting point for a sunrise tour through untouched nature past the Stubai Kalkkögeln. Every Saturday in August, the sunrise rides take holidaymakers to the top.

At the Pleasure & Wine event on Saturday, 15 July, sommeliers are waiting to spoil mountain sports enthusiasts with the finest wines. Participants hike from hut to hut in six stages and taste a white, rosé or red wine. The coupon booklet required for this is available at the cash desk at the Schlick 2000 valley station or directly from the participating huts.

The Stubai Valley by night

The Elferbahnen in Neustift also offer conviviality and wonderful enjoyment of nature: every Monday from 3 July to 21 August, guests can enjoy a fascinating view, including a breathtaking sunset, on the evening trips with continuous operation of the cable car until 9:30 pm.

During the summer hiking nights on Tuesday, 18 July, young and old hike with torches from the ‘Tschangelair-Alm’ through the Ruetz cataract along the WildeWasserWeg to the WildeWasserArena and on Tuesday, 8 August, from the Raffein bridge to the Grawa waterfall. Illuminated natural spectacles, an impressive fire show and suitable music as well as Stubai delicacies make hiking an unforgettable holiday moment.

Night owls can also look forward to this at the Serlesbahnen in Mieders during the Serles Summer Hiking Night: On Tuesday, 1 August, the impressive landscape is waiting to be discovered by moonlight from 7:00 pm. The path from the mountain station past the reservoir to the ‘Ochsenhütte’ is illuminated and accompanied by various culinary stops and musical entertainment.

Tradition meets Culinary

There is something going on throughout the Stubai Valley with the folk music event named “Klang & G’sang auf den Almen“. On Sunday, 30 July, you can celebrate to folk music from the entire Alpine region at various huts and alpine pastures while enjoying the panorama and the local cuisine.

On Sunday, 13 August, musical guests from all over the Alpine region come together for the 25thStubaier Almklang” – a folk music event in the Pinnis Valley next to Neustift.

Only two weeks later, on Sunday 27 August, the “Kirchtag on the Froneben Alm” in the Schlick 2000 is on the program. After the church service, it continues with live music and Stubai delicacies.

Every Tuesday evening in July and August, the Tyrolean folk evening “G’musigt und Getanzt” with live music by Stubai Power takes place on the village square in Fulpmes. The music carousel in Neustift is just as musical. Every Thursday until mid-September, visitors are entertained by a varied program: Folk, dance and brass music, hits and rock, stars of the scene and local groups ensure that there really is something for every taste. The evening is rounded off by the cosy terrace restaurants and inviting shops of the Neustift village square.

Also in Neustift, the farmers’ market takes place every second Friday in June and every Friday from 14 July to 20 October. Regional fruit and vegetables, meat and dairy products such as bacon and cheese, farmhouse bread but also handicrafts and wooden handicrafts await you here.
