Shredding followed by partying at the Bike Republic Sölden
Sölden’s Bike Nation is turning 10! From 19 to 22 June 2025, the adopted home of all biking aficionados will be celebrating the big BRS Birthday Party with a multi-day series of events: BRS Rally, Bike Expo, legendary Riders Party and countless entertaining side events are on the program.
With 14 shaped lines, 16 natural trails, 13 enduro routes and two pump tracks, the Bike Republic Sölden is considered the Alps’ flowiest nation. From the extreme Olm Volle Line – for pros only – to gentle trails for beginners, this exceptional bike park caters to all preferences and skill levels. Those gaining their first enduro experience will find the right spot at the 400 square meter Skill Center in the heart of Sölden. A little more experienced biking fans will soon be able to enjoy their first downhill adventure, for example on the easy Schtirggar Line.
Less braking, more flowing and even more biking fun are the hallmarks of an upgrade to Bartigs Bödele Line. Additionally, the legendary Swatch Nines “Dirt District” course will be open to advanced riders for the first time this summer. Finally ride where normally only the elite shred! From 12 to 14 September, the Swatch Nines festival will return to Sölden. Find out more: Bike Republic Sölden
A visit to the summit and James Bond
Hiking involves a lot of effort and time coupled with a rush of altitude and personal experiences pushing you towards personal limits. But hiking is also possible using the mountain lifts with only a few altitude meters and on pleasant yet scenic routes. Guests in possession of a Summer Card can enjoy one free uphill and downhill ride on all twelve summer mountain lifts per day.
One of gondola lifts, namely Gaislachkoglbahn, takes movie and action fans straight to the James Bond Adventure World at over 3,000 meters: 007 ELEMENTS quickly takes you into the universe of the famous secret agent.
On the thrilling mountain cart track down from Gaislachkogl, everyone aged six and over will enjoy a speedy ride down to the valley floor. A 7.3 km go-kart track leads downhill from the middle station, which is a toboggan run in winter.

Refined in the valley, served on the mountain: Alpinarik Sölden
In the 2025 summer, local mountain hut owners and producers will join forces as part of the “Alpinarik Sölden” campaign in order to create innovative “signature dishes.” Guests at participating alpine huts and inns will then enjoy fine fish, bread, lamb, wine and Ötztal alpine beef as regional delicacies. This project combines sports, nature and culinary treats, highlighting Sölden’s huge gastronomic variety. Just the same applies to the highly recommended gourmet restaurants on site: Ötztaler Stube at Hotel Das Central boasts one of the internationally renowned Michelin Stars. And in Austria’s highest two-toque awarded restaurant – ice Q at the summit of Gaislachkogl (3,048 meters) – and Ad Vinum restaurant, gourmets will find further culinary top spots in Sölden.
Varied event program
At the “Fest on the Mountain” on 03 August, activity stations and music will transform Gaislachkogl middle station into a huge festival area.
On 31 August 2025, some 4,000 cycling enthusiasts will once again compete in the legendary Ötztaler Cycle Marathon. About 25,198 cyclists from 50 nations registered for the official draw of starting places – a new record. The 227-kilometer long route covering 5,500 altitude meters attracts fans from all over the world.
After the BRS Birthday Party (19-22 June), bikers can already look forward to the next event on 26 July: Saturday Bike Fever, a festival boasting bike action, pop-up bar, outdoor cinema and community ride-outs. Every Friday from 04 July to 22 August, it’s Bike Evening time. The first section of Gaislachkogl gondola is in operation until 19:15 and the lines remain open until 20:00.
At the beginning of September, everything revolves around the Swatch Nines contest. First as a media event from 09 to 14 September, then as a public spectacle on occasion of the BRS Festival from 12 to 14 September.
The crowning end will be celebrated on the BRS National Holiday from 03 to 05 October. A unique bicycle parade, live music, ride-outs and spectacular bike shows guarantee a worthy season finale.
