PillerseeTal: Freeride World Tour Fieberbrunn again multi-day festival

Back in the Tyrolean freeride mecca: From the 9th to the 12th of March, the Freeride World Tour will once again be calling the shots in Fieberbrunn. The spectacular contest is framed by a festival lasting several days, which offers exclusive insights into the world of freeriding and a lot of festival flair. The second edition of the Freeride Talk will kick off on Thursday, 9th of March.

Freeride World Tour in Fieberbrunn

The only Freeride World Cup stop in the German-speaking region will once again bring the world’s best in this impressive sport to Tyrol from the 9th to the 12th of March and thus to the freeride hotspot of Fieberbrunn in the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn. In the focus point of the Freeride World Tour is the north slope of the Wildseeloder (2119 m), where the riders will fight for points in a best-of-two-runs format. The contest face is more than worthy: steep and rocky, with a vertical drop of 620 metres and an inclination of up to 70 degrees, the slope is considered one of the most spectacular on the contest calendar. Spectators can be there live on the day of the competition, which will depend on the weather (planned for 11th of March), and cheer along directly in the finish area in the contest village at the Wildalmen.

Full festival programme including second Freeride Talk

When the Freeride World Tour stops off in Tyrol, there will be a lot going on not only on the spectacular lines of the Wildseeloder, but also away from the contest. The hub of the Freeride Festival Fieberbrunn is the Event Village at the Streuböden valley station and the directly connected official Riders Hotel “TUI Blue”. The Event Village offers freeride fans the opportunity to test the latest equipment from a wide range of brands. The official Riders Hotel will also open its doors again for everyone. There, the Riders Lounge and the Freeride Garden await with cocktails, DJ sessions, barbeque and direct contact with the stars of the scene.

A real highlight will also be the second edition of one of the biggest freeride talks in the German-speaking region, which will kick off the festival week on Thursday, 9th of March. Athletes, well-known personalities and legends from the freeride and alpine sector will meet here and talk about competition, content, risk management and much more. Interested parties can take part in the talk live on site or get important tips and tricks from the insiders virtually.

With the Freeride Festival Fieberbrunn, a freeride adventure awaits in March in Fieberbrunn with many goosebump moments, exclusive insights and the pure freeride sport – not only for the pros of the Freeride World Tour, but for everyone who is enthusiastic about freeriding.
