From mid-June, the alpine rose bloom enchants the Pillerseetal

As early summer arrives in the Pillerseetal, nature unveils a spectacular display of colors. From mid-June, alpine roses bloom in full splendor, painting the mountainsides in vibrant pink. Their delicate fragrance drifts through the crisp mountain air, while the deep blue spring gentian creates a picturesque contrast. Up here, surrounded by meadows and the untouched silence of the mountains, you can truly experience spring with all your senses.

Nonstop to the top in Fieberbrunn: Starting May 24, 2025, the brand-new Streubödenbahn will transport visitors directly into the heart of the Fieberbrunn mountain world – no transfers needed! Perfect for families, hikers, climbers, and biking enthusiasts, this state-of-the-art 10-person gondola features large panoramic windows for spectacular views and the highest level of riding comfort. Designed to be fully accessible, it allows for easy transport of bikes, strollers, and wheelchairs. Say goodbye to long waiting times and standing cabins – now it’s nonstop to the top!

Sustainable Travel in the Pillerseetal – Climate-Friendly from Arrival to Local Mobility

Visitors to the Pillerseetal enjoy environmentally friendly and stress-free mobility. With the guest card from Pillerseetal, they can use the regional bus free of charge throughout the entire region, as well as to Kitzbühel, Ellmau, and Lofer. The S-Bahn and regional train (REX) are also available at no cost for travel across the Kitzbühel Alps – from Hochfilzen to Wörgl or Kirchbichl. The guest card, which doubles as a ticket, is provided directly by the accommodation provider. For added convenience, travelers arriving by train can take advantage of a complimentary shuttle service to and from their accommodation.

New: The “Alpliner” – Sustainable Travel to the Pillerseetal

A new climate-friendly travel option is now available for visitors heading to the Pillerseetal. The Alpliner offers a direct connection from Frankfurt, Mannheim, and Stuttgart to the region for the very first time. This modern long-distance bus service provides maximum comfort with spacious seating and free Wi-Fi – all while being 40 times more eco-friendly than traveling by car. Sit back, relax, and start your holiday stress-free – with the Alpliner, your vacation begins the moment you set off!

One Pass for Everything – The Pillerseetal Card: Take the mountain lift up to the Jakobskreuz, ride the roller coaster at Erlebnispark Familienland, or uncover the “Secret of the Steinberg King” – all with the Pillerseetal Card! This ultimate holiday pass grants entry to the region’s top attractions, adventure parks, and mountain lifts. The diverse family and children’s program from July to September is also included. The 6-day pass with a guest card costs €93 for adults and €48 for children, while the 4-day pass is €80 and €41, respectively. Starting September 8, a 3-day pass is available for €72 with a guest card, and children travel free. Kids born in 2021 or later always enjoy free access.
