NEW INFRASTRUCTURE

SEEFELDER JOCHBAHN
The “Seefelder Jochbahn” has been given a completely new outfit and has been “updated” in terms of capacity and frequency. It will go into operation on 23.12.2018 Details: www.rosshuette.at

CASINO ARENA PANORAMA PLATFORM
Construction of a viewing platform in the Casino Arena is planned in light of the FIS Nordic World Cup 2019. It will offer a fantastic year-round 360° view over the Mösern valley and the world cup venues. The platform will be heated and be accessible at any time by means of a staircase. It will provide a secure, snow-free viewing point, even during snowfall.

NEW “ONE STOP SHOP” INFO OFFICE AT THE TRAIN STATION SEEFELD
Seefeld’s Tourist Information Office is moving into the newly-designed station building in mid-September. Over and above the existing range of services, additional services will be available in the new front and back office area, such as the sale of ÖBB rail tickets. The office will be open 7 days a week during the season, Monday to Saturday from 8.30-18.30 and Sundays and holidays from 10.00 – 12.30 and 15.00-17.00.

SCHARNITZ MUSEUM “HOLZERHÜTTE”
The museum will have the same opening times in winter as the Scharnitz Information Office (see the website). Visitors simply collect a free admission code from the information office. Guided tours for groups, with a representative of the Karwendel Nature Park, can be arranged year-round by prior arrangement with the Karwendel Nature Park (extra charge).

KURPARK GARAGE – NEW GARAGE IN SEEFELD’S CENTRE
The Albrecht family has built a public parking area with an underground car park as well as outdoor parking possibilities in the city centre in course of the reconstruction of the railway station. Access is to be found via Münchnerstrasse 34 at Kurpark Seefeld, which ends then at the Hotel Karwendelhof, Innsbrucker Str. 124. The parking area offers 35 outdoor lots as well as 33 underground parking spaces in the heart of Seefeld with access to the Hotel Karwendelhof and the Kurpark. Payment is possible in cash only.

“AUFATMEN” in Leutasch, Gasse – The “breathe a sigh of relief” concept moves on.
Maria and Wolfgang from Hotel “Aufatmen” have expanded their “breathe a sigh of relief” concept and have built two new garden chalets, a new entrance area and a so-called “smoke house” as a further USP. Completely new experiences are on the programme, with herbs from the region and smoking rituals. And it doesn’t stop there …. from summer 2019 the “breathe a sigh of relief” concept will be supplemented by a vegetarian restaurant, “Aufessen”. Not just for in-house guests, but also for any visitors to the Olympiaregion Seefeld, it will be the only vegetarian restaurant on the plateau.
