The night hiking experience that activates the senses.
Strolling through the snow-covered landscape, enjoying absolute silence, only interrupted by the snow creaking under your feet – for many people this is what makes winter hiking so fascinating. The experience of night hiking is even more appealing. This is exactly what the winter hiking nights in the Klaus Äuele Natur Aktiv Park on 10 and 24 January 2019 in Neustift in the Stubaital offer.
Stars are sparkling in the night sky, the snow-covered landscape mystically glittering in the moonlight and a quiver of expectation is in the air. The winter hiking nights, which are held in the Klaus Äuele recreation area near Neustift from 7:30 to 10:00pm, are a winter experience that stimulate all human senses.
Next to incomparable nature impressions amidst the fantastically snow-covered winter scenery, visitors are awaited by a programme that is ideally tailored to the atmosphere. Paths that are illuminated by torches and lanterns lead to different stations across the extensive area, where guests are invited to make various rest stops. The entire family, young and older members alike, can look forward to traditional music and real culinary delights in this winter wonderland.
On the free guided torch hikes you can explore the Klaus Äuele area at night, try out skating across frozen ponds or gather for a curling match. At the Marend Stüberl building you can strengthen and warm both body and soul. Other highlights comprise husky sleigh rides and ice artists, who work with whole blocks of ice, creating fantastic things with them.
The event starts at 7.30pm respectively and free shuttle buses regularly run between Schönberg and the venue.
