SALOMON 4 TRAILS 2019

Last updated on 10.04.2019

When the 4 TRAILS find their place in the competition calendar again from 10 to 13 July 2019, many things will be new. Very important: the four daily stages will be shorter and more compact. The 4 TRAILS are the perfect entry for trail runners into the world of stage races.

From Seefeld to Imst
After four day stages of between 22 and 24 kilometres and with 1,300 to 1,600 vertical metres runners will reach the finish in Imst. The event is celebrating its comeback with a completely new concept featuring shorter stages and separate categories for hikers. The ultimate goal of the event is reaching Lake Garda in Italy in four years. Each year, participants complete a new section of this north-south journey across the Alps.

Challenging route for trail runners and hikers
SALOMON 4 TRAILS is perfect for all those who want to take part in a multi-day trailrun for the first time. There is a separate category for hikers without timekeeping and with no official results and classification. Participants will make their way from the start in Seefeld to Leutasch, Wildermieming, Nassereith and finish in Imst. Along the way they will explore spectacular trails above 2,200 metres with majestic mountain views and spectacular ridge crossings.
