Snowbombing Brings International Club Sounds Back to Mayrhofen
Last updated on 25.03.2026
From 06 to 11 April 2026, Mayrhofen will once again become the vibrant hub of the electronic music scene. For over two decades, Snowbombing has been one of Europe’s most iconic festivals, combining world-class acts with an alpine backdrop and spring skiing. Once again, thousands of guests from across Austria and beyond are expected to descend upon the region.

International Line-up
Big names from the global club scene return in 2026, with a strong line-up that brings serious energy to the mountains. This year’s acts include Maribou State, Orbital, De La Soul, Sub Focus and Hybrid Minds, alongside a host of other artists and exciting newcomers. Together, they bring fresh sounds to Mayrhofen and turn the festival into a lively meeting point for music lovers from around the world.
Unique Locations
What sets Snowbombing apart are its extraordinary venues. By day, the party moves up the mountain, with breathtaking views and a wide range of side events. Whether it’s creative pop-up happenings or laid-back sessions in the sunshine, this is where winter sports meet festival vibes.

After sunset, the action shifts down into the valley. Clubs and bars across Mayrhofen transform into buzzing hotspots, providing the perfect setting for long nights out—from established venues like Racket Club, Fun Haus and Arena Night Club to pop-up locations such as Hans the Butcher, all of which give Snowbombing its unmistakable character.

Programme Highlights
The festival’s much-loved signature events return in 2026. The Welcome Party kicks things off on Sunday, 5 April along Mayrhofen’s main street, setting the tone for the week ahead. The Forest Party follows on Tuesday, 7 April in the unique setting of the Forest Festival Area, while the Street Party on Thursday, 9 April transforms the village centre around the music pavilion into a huge open-air stage under the theme “Astronauts on vacation”.

New for 2026 is a collaboration with the “Ravers2Runners” initiative, which promotes greater awareness around physical and mental well-being within the music and festival scene. As part of Snowbombing, visitors can take part in a 5 km Run Club or join a guided alpine hike—adding a welcome balance of movement, fresh air and mental reset to the festival experience.
Snowbombing once again brings together the international club sounds and alpine lifestyle in 2026, transforming Mayrhofen into a mecca for the electronic music scene for an entire week.
