Summer kickstart for all biking fans in Sölden: Full program from day one
Last updated on 22.05.2026 | Ötztal
On Thursday, 04 June 2026, BIKE REPUBLIC SÖLDEN (BRS) will kick off the new season together with the summer mountain lifts and the mountain cart track. Bikers can look forward to the full range of trails as well as the opening of the brand-new “Hupfar Line” jump line. The next highlight is scheduled from 18 to 21 June: BRS Festival will gather the world’s best slopestyle & freeride bikers already for the third time.

A long-awaited wish of the community is coming true right at the start of the BRS season. The new Hupfar Line (red difficulty level) is opening: the name in Ötztal dialect simply means ” jumping”. The first section covers 1.55 kilometers and was built in collaboration with Tirol’s popular trail designer Matthias Garber, offering plenty of airtime thanks to perfectly shaped tables, rollers and drops. Due to several take-offs, both intermediate and expert riders will find something to enjoy. The second section is even more spectacular, featuring expertise of internationally renowned athletes like Sam Hodgson and Veronique Sandler.
New date: BIKE REPUBLIC SÖLDEN Festival in June
The Bike Republic’s biggest event highlight will move to early summer in 2026, taking place from 18 to 21 June 2026. The unique festival combines opening vibes with top-class sport: in addition to the Bike Republic Sölden Rally, the legendary Swatch Nines will feature a Public Night Show and a Public Day including an Expo Party, where the world’s best MTB athletes can be experienced up close in the “Dirt District”. For the first time this year, the BMX discipline will be integrated into the show program across the two-hectare event area.
Further updates
In addition to the Hupfar Line, the huge array of mountain biking offer in Sölden has been optimized and expanded in several areas:
• Drimmle Line: this new connecting route between Gaislachkogl and Giggijoch mountains provides direct access on the mountain without having to go down to the valley floor.
• Traien Trail: the red trail has been extended to an impressive 2.3 kilometers.
• New pump track: a new pump track over 100 meters long awaits riders at Gaislachkogl gondola middle station.
Extended operating hours at Bike After Work
From work straight to bike flow: the popular “Bike After Work” returns in 2026. Every Friday from 03 July to 21 August 2026, the first section of Gaislachkogl gondola will run until 19:15. It means extra flow and extended sunset rides for bikers and riders, as selected lines and trails will be open until 20:00 on these special days. For maximum flexibility on the trails, attractive weekend rates have also been introduced, which can be booked flexibly from half a day up to 2.5 days. Good to know: BRS is a partner of the Gravity Card. This European bike park network provides access to the best spots on the continent – including BRS cooperation partner THE MOTHER – Bikepark Winterberg in Germany’s Sauerland region.
