Mountopolis – The Heart of Winter
At the centre of it all lies Mountopolis – the Mayrhofner Bergbahnen World of Adventure. With 142 kilometres of slopes, 61 lifts and snow guaranteed right through to spring, it promises pure skiing joy for winter sports enthusiasts of every level of ability. From family-friendly runs and challenging valley descents to the legendary Harakiriand the creative lines of PenkenPark – there’s a highlight for everyone here. New since summer 2025 and enjoying its winter premiere: the SkyRide Ahorn, the cabriolet gondola with an open panoramic deck that makes the journey up the mountain an experience in itself. At the top, visitors can discover the brand-new AlbertAdler Adventure Trail, featuring the GreifenBrücke suspension bridge and breathtaking views over Mayrhofen and the Zillertal Valley.

Beyond the Slopes – Nature Meets Adventure
Away from the ski slopes, the region reveals a different kind of beauty – peaceful, varied and utterly authentic. Snow-covered trails lead winter hikers and snowshoers to scenic viewpoints and welcoming huts. Ginzling Winter Magic is an insider tip, where the mountaineering village transforms into a tranquil winter hideaway complete with cross-country trail, toboggan run and snowtubing track.
