For the first time ever, 24 teams from all over Europe will be competing at the European Women\u2019s Handball Championship \u2013 making this tournament the biggest ever. The 16th<\/sup> edition will this year be staged in four cities in three different countries: the preliminary rounds will be held in Innsbruck (Austria), Basel (Switzerland) and Debrecen (Hungary), with the main round in Vienna (Austria) and Debrecen, before the weekend of the final in Vienna\u2019s Stadthalle. The spirit and passion of handball will be on display in Innsbruck at the end of November and beginning of December, as Europe\u2019s best female handball players battle it out for the prestigious trophy.
