The Journalismusfest Innsbruck is a place for encounters, debates and cultural exchanges, where journalists from different European regions can have their say with their specific expertise. They will discuss current issues with academics, representatives of NGOs, and other experts. At book launches and readings reporters will talk about their experiences and provide insights into their work; exhibitions with photo reportages, comics, documentary films and audio features round off the third edition. Admission to many of the events is free.

Under the artistic direction of Gregor Blo\u00e9b, the motto of the second season of the Tyrolean Folk Theatre Festival is: \u201cThere\u2019s more to come\u201d. The successful production of \u201cSeven Deadly Sins\u201d, which premiered on the Birkenberg in Telfs last year, will be revived for 2024. New on the programme of the 42nd<\/sup> edition of the festival is Heinrich von Kleist\u2019s comedy, \u201cThe Broken Jug\u201d: directed by Anna Bergmann, this timeless classic will celebrate its premiere on 1 August 2024 on the Eduard-Walln\u00f6fer-Platz in Telfs. In addition to these major productions, the 2024 festival will be rounded off with summer readings, concerts and more.

The international festival for New Circus, clown performances and street theatre is for the fifth time setting up camp in Innsbruck. The centrepiece of the Krapoldi festival is the circus tents in the middle of the Rapoldi Park. Innsbruck\u2019s old town and its Marktplatz too will be full of colour during the late summer days: street art festivals and spectacular performances, productions that have never before been seen in Austria and popular classics are all sure to amaze audiences. When, in late summer, classical music resounds from the mountains, it is the moment for the unique concert experience offered by the Tyrolean chamber orchestra InnStrumenti: Klassik am Berg<\/em>, classics on the mountain. This year it is the picturesque mountain world of the Axamer Lizum that provides the perfect setting for the sixth edition. Listeners can comfortably reach the \u201cconcert hall\u201d by cable car to enjoy a wide-ranging programme directed and moderated by Gerhard Sammer. The enchanting ladies of the Ladin ensemble \u201cGanes\u201d and young trombonist Jakob Ettlinger have been invited to perform as soloists for the occasion.
