Two new digital themed trails<\/a> lead guests playfully through the Achensee region. The \u201cPath of Reflection\u201d themed trail offers the opportunity to find peace and quiet through guided mediations and mindfulness exercises along the existing \u201cDien-Mut-Weg\u201d trail in Pertisau. The \u201cAchensee Nature Adventure Path\u201d, on the other hand, makes learning about Karwendel Nature Park\u2019s diverse flora and fauna exciting and accessible, while interactive learning modules and quizzes encourage visitors to learn about the region\u2019s biodiversity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rest and relaxation for body and soul in the midst of the \u00d6tztal Valley\u2019s pristine alpine landscape is offered by new installations along the Ochsenkopf Trail<\/a>. Several platforms designed to resemble a bathtub, and two tree houses have been integrated into the middle of the forest. One of the two houses is located at the tree line and offers a view of the village, while the second stands at the edge of the forest above the \u00d6tztaler Ache River. Launched as a joint project between Osttirol Tourist Board<\/a>, Hohe Tauern National Park and the municipality of Virgen, the \u201cWeg der Sinne\u201d (Path of the Senses) adventure trail will reopen in summer 2025 with a whole new look. Stations dotted along the trail are intended to heighten awareness of the human senses and are designed primarily for families. In addition to the twelve interactive stations, the trail features benches, sun loungers, photo opportunities and a scenic cinema to inspire visitors to explore the impressive mountain world. Three days, three huts and a panorama that will thrill hikers of every age \u2013 we\u2019re talking about the new Leutasch 3-day hut-to-hut hike for families<\/a> in the Seefeld Region. Pristine nature, rustic hut accommodation and lots of fun for young and old in the form of playgrounds, wildlife and natural waterways make the tour through the Gaistal valley an ideal experience for children aged five and over. From summer 2025, three new \u201csmart\u201d hiking trails<\/a> invite you to explore the Silberregion Karwendel. The \u201cWay of the Senses\u201d offers the chance to unwind with yoga, while the \u201cPlanet Trail\u201d in Terfens depicts the planets of our solar system in their true proportions. Steeped in history, the \u201cMiners\u2019 Trail\u201d in Schwaz takes you to original 16th century tunnels used by miners back in the day to access the mine. The new themed trails have been digitised with the user-friendly Locandy app, providing plenty of fun, games and excitement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The popular Tree House Trail<\/a> at the middle station of Kreuzjochbahn cable car in the Schlick 2000 ski resort in the Stubai Valley is about to get a new addition. From summer 2025, nine tree houses will be inviting visitors to explore the almost 5,000 m\u00b2 world of adventure between the forest floor and the treetops, which is suitable for prams and features Bardin, the dwarf. The \u201cDwarf Fire Station\u201d is also new, with an extended route from Gasthof Verg\u00f6r down in the valley to the Gr\u00f6benh\u00f6fe farms and back to Schlick 2000 cable car valley station. Located between Niederau and Oberau in the Wildsch\u00f6nau region<\/a>, a 3.5-kilometre, nature-orientated family trail will be completed in time for summer 2025, inviting you to hike and discover the forest, meadows and water. There are plenty of places to stop, enjoy games and physical activities, as well as scenic vantage points along the \u201cWildsch\u00f6nau Whirlwind\u201d trail, which is suitable for hikers of all ages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A special audio adventure awaits young mountain enthusiasts at Spieljoch in Zillertal<\/a>. \u201cThe Mystery of the W\u00fcnschel Route\u201d takes families on an adventure with Alwin, the little miner from Spieljoch. The route is 2.2 kilometres in length and takes around two to two and a half hours to complete. It leads from the mountain station of Spieljoch cable car along ten interactive stations to the summit in the direction of Onkeljoch and back to the starting point again.<\/p>\n\n\n\nFamilies & Day Trip Destinations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Thanks to the Panorama Shell, PillerseeTal has a new attraction that invites you to relax in the midst of this alpine mountain world. The innovative relaxation area in the shape of a shell not only offers spectacular views of the surrounding landscape but is also fully wheelchair accessible. Constructed from larch wood, the shell will be an additional highlight for visitors to Triassic Park at Steinplatte Waidring<\/a> from summer 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The new, cantilevered GreifenBr\u00fccke bridge on the (in part) pram friendly AlbertAdler Adventure Trail<\/a> on Mount Ahorn above Mayrhofen offers fabulous views. The DragonFly Zipline<\/a> is a special attraction around the Ehrenberg castle complex in the Naturparkregion Reutte. It is not only officially Europe\u2019s first zipline for wheelchair users, but also promises 50 seconds of free flying fun over a length of 600 metres \u2013 coupled with breathtaking views for people of all ages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A new attraction awaits families in Wichtelpark Sillian<\/a> from summer 2025. The 500-metre-long Forest Gnome Trail offers children and adults an entertaining opportunity to playfully search for the lost treasure of mascot, Willi Wichtel. Those who find the treasure and fill in the correct word on their card will receive a reward at the end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Medrigalm in See in Paznaun-Ischgl is a true paradise for explorers of every age. From summer 2025, Seebi\u2019s Bear World<\/a> offers young adventurers a unique playground that combines movement, nature, and fun. With a 6-metre wooden bear, water features, and a variety of climbing and balancing activities, this destination guarantees an unforgettable day out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition to the upside-down-house and Dinoland, two new attractions await at TirolLand<\/a> in Silberregion Karwendel: visitors can experience the fascinating world of stars from sports, music, film and art in the Wax Museum, while giant Cobi building block artworks are waiting to be explored in a new exhibition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The new slide park on Mount Galtberg in the Schlick 2000 hiking centre<\/a> in the Stubai Valley promises endless fun and adventure for children of all ages. Seven stations with nine different slides extend along the 2.5-kilometre-long, pushchair-friendly path, which negotiates an altitude difference of some 400 metres. The Slide Trail starts just below the mountain station of Galtbergbahn cable car, from where you can also rent the slide mats. The route continues past the idyllic Galtalmsee lake and the rustic Galtalm to the Bruggeralm. You may want to take advantage of the opportunity to enjoy some refreshments at the cable car middle station, before heading back to the original starting point via the Slike Trail or combine the excursion with a detour to the equally entertaining Tree House Trail or Scheibenweg Trail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The moor nymph, T\u00f6rfchen, and her friend, Rocky, accompany families through the unique highland moors on the southern slopes of the Wilden Kaiser mountains. Inspired by the motto, \u201cMoor & More\u201d<\/a>, an open-air classroom has been created, featuring themed information boards that invite you to explore the surroundings under your own steam. From summer 2025, the XXL-Dirtpark \u201cDirt District<\/a>\u201d of the Swatch Nine Media Event will be open to the public for the first time in the Bike Republic S\u00f6lden and, together with the opening of the Freeride and Slopestyle Line, promises even more airtime, thrills and challenges. Moreover, the revised \u201cBartigs B\u00f6dele\u201d trail with optimised flow ensures even more riding fun. Sports-loving families and bike enthusiasts can look forward to a new, family-friendly trail park in Nassereith<\/a> in summer 2025. The new park consists of three trails (a longer flow trail, a shorter kids trail and a feeder\/uphill trail), an innovative and mobile pump track that is easy to set up and dismantle, as well as a technique area where you can playfully develop your technique or acquire basic skills for trail riding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
From summer 2025, a new 30-kilometre MTB tour will connect Ischgl<\/a> with Ramosch (Scuol) in Switzerland. What\u2019s more, the new Fimbapass Marathon, an 80-kilometre round trip from Ischgl over the Fimbapass to Ramosch, via Martina to Samnaun and back via cable car \u2013 forms an improved route that once again highlights the \u2018borderless\u2019 nature of the Silvretta Bike Arena. In addition the Silvretta Bike Arena Ischgl\/Samnaun and the Silva Trails Galt\u00fcr will now be part of the Gravity Card network, which provides access to 30 top mountain bike destinations in seven European countries. Galt\u00fcr has also expanded its MTB options: a new, one-kilometre circular route around the Faulbrunn Alm is suitable for beginners and advanced riders alike. The Schrofa Trail, with a length of 180 metres, offers a technically challenging experience for advanced bikers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A new bike park<\/a> with a practice area and small trail park is currently being built in Gnadenwald in the Hall-Wattens region, with completion scheduled for summer 2025. The practice area is ideal for honing riding techniques, with a pump track, jumps and balancing elements, as well as easy, short entry-level trails. The varied trail park is suitable for beginners and advanced trail riders alike, as well as families and young people as it features several easy to more challenging trails and lines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The 3-country enduro trails<\/a> are being expanded to include a spectacular highlight: the Goldsee Trail with Jumpline. The new hybrid trail not only integrates stone, wood, earth and airflow, but also combines modern riding fun with technical sophistication. Located directly at the Goldseebahn cable car, the Goldsee Trail impresses with its perfect fusion of flow and challenge. With its diverse elements and well-thought-out route, it appeals to both beginners and experienced bikers.<\/p>\n\n\n\nClimbing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
The Climbers Paradise region of Paznaun-Ischgl<\/a> promises three new multi-pitch sectors in Galt\u00fcr from summer 2025. Featuring the Jamtal multi-pitch route (difficulty level 4+ to 7), the Alpine climbing routes on the Ballunspitze Galt\u00fcr (difficulty level 3+ to 6a) and the less challenging Alpinarium via ferrata (difficulty level A\/B), passionate climbers and beginners alike will have a wide range of routes to choose from in future. Beginners also have an extensive range of routes at their disposal, all set against the impressive backdrop of the Silvretta Alps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The new Keilschrofen via ferrata<\/a> will open in summer 2025, located directly in Feichten and within walking distance of the village centre. Easily accessible, it is 180 metres long and rated B\/C in difficulty and leads to a magnificent viewing platform. At the foot of the new via ferrata, there is also a new climbing loop that is particularly suitable for training purposes and for beginners to develop their technique.<\/p>\n\n\n\nMore News & Offers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Following completion of the construction phase of the lakeside promenade from Seespitz to Atoll Achensee in 2020, a further section from Atoll Achensee to the \u2018Pr\u00e4latenhaus\u2019 in Eben am Achensee has now also been finalised. A clear distinction between the cycle and footpaths, an extension of the sunbathing lawns with newly planted, shade-giving trees and new seating in the form of benches and wooden loungers, as well as the new bathing jetty and newly created bathing access points into the lake, now offer even more comfort and space for those seeking rest and relaxation in this popular holiday region<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Wipptal Valley invites you to discover its incredible Train Running Retreats in the Wipptal mountains<\/a> in summer 2025. The events, which focus on improving technique, personal endurance and mental strength, are suitable for all levels of ability. Beginners start in May with the Training Retreat, where they learn the basics of trail running in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere. The Alpine Performance Retreats in July and September are designed for more experienced runners. Participants benefit from the support of ASTA-certified trail running guides, qualified physiotherapists and nutrition coaches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
True to the motto, \u201cGerlos gifts summits<\/a>\u201d, overnight guests staying in accommodation in Gerlos will enjoy unlimited travel on the cable cars in Gerlos and K\u00f6nigsleiten from summer 2025. The existing Free Mountain Card is included in the new Zell-Gerlos TopCard and is issued by accommodation providers directly at check-in.
