On 06 June 2025, the Bike Republic S\u00f6lden officially kicks off the new season: as always with the finest trails and lines, but this time with a new concept. The classic Bike Opening will be celebrated two weeks later as part of the big BRS Birthday Party because the Bike Republic is turning 10! The season is opened with the ultimate S\u00f6lden Summer Kickstart \u2013 a long early summer weekend brimming with activities, attractions and bike vibes. Two more autumn highlights are scheduled at the BRS Festival x Swatch Nines and the National Holiday. Trail updates for 2025 and 2026 are also on the agenda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

S\u00f6lden Summer Kickstart<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As soon as S\u00f6lden\u2019s summer mountain lifts start operating again on 06 June, you can finally shred to your heart’s content in the Bike Republic. The unrivaled S\u00f6lden Summer Kickstart<\/a> also boasts a long weekend from 06 to 09 June with a small but excellent side program for the season\u2019s first rides. In addition to bike technique courses, community ride-outs and workshops, the first bike guests can look forward to a Summer Kickstart Package that comprises many other highlights and benefits, such as discounted bike tickets, a sunrise ride with mountain breakfast, a guided brewery tour with free beer and a hiking tour to S\u00f6ldenkogl summit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10 years of flow, fun & friends: BRS Birthday Party celebrates the Community<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

From 19 to 22 June 2025, the Bike Republic will be celebrating the tenth anniversary of its founding. On four entire days the BRS Birthday Party<\/a> will combine mountain biking, music, enjoyment and the great Republic Spirit during a truly unique festival. It features a large Expo Area with material testing, a spectacular Bike Flip Show, action-packed contests like Bunny H\u00f6\u00f6p, Bike Limbo and Bike Obstacle Duel, daily guided bike technique courses for all skill levels and ages as well as popular Ride Outs guided by BRS Flowmaster Korbi Engstler.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main attraction of the festivities, however, remains the BRS Rally<\/a> where teams of two or three race across the entire Republic at altitudes beyond 3,000 meters. These trails require not only excellent biking skills but also tactics and team spirit. Those in possess of a diplomatic passport can collect visa stamps, master tests and celebrate every stamp as a funfair. In line with the Riders Rule philosophy, both the Rally and the BRS Birthday Party are mainly focusing on the community. This year, it\u2019s not just about biking but also about making history together – with maximum grace and a good dose of irony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trail news: Dirt District, \u201cSharing is Caring\u201c and plans for the future<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2025 summer also brings some new trail features. In the newly created Dirt District<\/a> –\u00a0a 13,000 square meter slopestyle area that provided international action during the 2024 Swatch Nines event and will do so again this autumn – riders with appropriate skills can now take off themselves. Use is at your own risk. The large freeride line is currently only available for registered training sessions and photo or video shoots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bartigs B\u00f6dele<\/a>\u00a0Line is reinventing itself in 2025 and now runs a few meters below in order to leave the original route to hikers again – a sign of consideration for all other mountain fans. Located on S\u00f6lden’s vibrant side, Bartigs B\u00f6dele is accessible via Eebme Line<\/a> with an exit point at the glacier road toll station and a connection to Schlender Line<\/a>. Further down, you will find OHN Line<\/a>\u00a0or\u00a0OLLWEITE Line<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And construction work continues apace in the future: the long-awaited jump line in the area of Te\u00e4re Line<\/a> is slowly taking shape. The first section is scheduled for completion in the 2026 season, with a second to follow in 2027. Difficulty levels will range from dark blue to light red, ensuring that both ambitious and advanced bikers will find what they are looking for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Golden autumn: BRS Festival Premiere with SWATCH NINES and BRS National Holiday<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

From 12 to 14 September 2025, S\u00f6lden will become the epicenter of the gravity scene: thanks to the premiere of the Bike Republic S\u00f6lden Festival, the Republic celebrates a new, large-scale event format – and the world’s elite will be there to congratulate. At the ultimate BRS FESTIVAL X SWATCH NINES<\/a>, top riders like Erik Fedko, Nicholi Rogatkin, Bienvenido Alba and Robin Goomes will push themselves to new levels of trick performance \u2013 for example, at the Public Night Shoot that will light up the skies above the Dirt District. There is also a festival program brimming with contests, ride-outs, a packed Brand & Expo Area, top live acts and the legendary Riders Party at Giggijoch base station. On three entire days, everything revolves around style, airtime and what defines the BRS: community, creativity and uncompromising bike action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The crowning finale of every Bike Republic season has always been the BRS National Holiday<\/a> on the season\u2019s very last bike weekend. Even though the program is not finalized yet, Bike Republic citizens can look forward to tried and tested highlights from 03 to 05 October: ride-outs, bike technique courses, contests like Bunny H\u00f6\u00f6p and Bike Limbo and, of course, the legendary S\u00f6lden Bicycle Parade which focuses on everything that rolls – from unicycles to enduro bicycles. Whether workshops for the youngest ones in the Kids Bike Area, social gatherings at the Citizens\u2019 Meeting or spectacular shows \u2013 once again, the National Holiday brings everything that makes the Republic so special to the trails: flow, variety and a whole lot of passion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
