The bike season in the world\u2019s most beautiful republic is in full swing \u2013 and the next big highlight is just around the corner: From 12-14 September 2025, S\u00f6lden will once again host one of the most spectacular events in the mountain bike scene: at the Bike Republic S\u00f6lden (BRS) Festival X Swatch Nines, the world\u2019s best slopestyle and freeride athletes return to the flowy alpine nation to once again redefine the limits of what\u2019s possible on two wheels. Of course, there\u2019s also a packed schedule of side events, a bustling brand and event area, ride-outs with top athletes, and next-level parties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bike Republic S\u00f6lden has rightly earned its place among the leading mountain bike destinations in Europe and beyond. That\u2019s thanks to a unique mix: trails for every skill level, breathtaking alpine views, and a vibrant, deeply rooted mountain bike culture that stretches from summit to valley. And if there\u2019s one thing S\u00f6lden knows besides riding \u2013 it\u2019s how to celebrate. That\u2019s why, right after the massive 10th birthday bash, we\u2019re rolling straight into the BRS Festival X Swatch Nines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recap: 10 Years of Bike Republic S\u00f6lden<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yep, you read that right \u2013 the Bike Republic S\u00f6lden is already turning 10. What started as a vision in 2015 is now a strong community with its own values, trails, and legends. S\u00f6lden is more than \u201cjust a bike park\u201d \u2013 and everyone who\u2019s been here knows it. To celebrate a full decade, the creators shared their story in a special anniversary video: Birth Of A Republic: 10 Years of Bike <\/a>Republic <\/a>S\u00f6lden.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Public Days at BRS Festival X Swatch Nines<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just two years ago, Swatch Nines events were off-limits to the general public \u2013 where the world\u2019s best slopestyle and freeride athletes quietly broke records on creative courses. Now, integrated into the BRS Festival, the spectacle is open to everyone for the second time. In the \u201cDirt District\u201d in Gr\u00fcnwald, spectators can witness up close as the boundaries of mountain biking are pushed to new heights on Friday and Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The weekend kicks off with the Swatch Nines Night Shoot on Friday (12 September),<\/strong> where athletes will launch skyward on an illuminated course, setting the tone for a night to remember. Things start at 7:00 PM, with food & drinks available at the Panorama Alm as well as after-vibes with a live DJ and party atmosphere right on-site. On Saturday (13 September), the Public Day<\/strong> begins at 1:00 PM \u2013 expect another round of jaw-dropping action and maybe even a few world\u2019s firsts. Only in S\u00f6lden: ride your own laps in the Bike Republic and then watch the global elite throw down spectacular runs. A dedicated shuttle service will bring you from S\u00f6lden to Gr\u00fcnwald on both days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the massive \u201cDirt District\u201d site, there\u2019s both a Slopestyle Line and a Freeride Line. The Slopestyle Line, normally open to everyone, shines with a variety of creative features. The Freeride Line is built for speed, flow, and airtime \u2013 expect massive jumps up to 20 meters (60 feet), spectacular tricks, and pure style. Full course details, including a 3D preview, will drop right before the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
