This colourful procession will be accompanied by historic Massey Ferguson vintage tractors and lovingly decorated radish floats. The official opening will be performed by the mayors of Hall and Thaur with the traditional tapping of the free beer barrel, energetically supported by Radish Princess Anna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What\u2019s on offer to eat at the Radish Festival?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The farmers of Thaur will be providing refreshments with a selection of spring delicacies. Alongside radish burgers and radish soup, there will be traditional Kiachl and tempting, homemade cakes. In addition, Tiroler Biopilze will be showcasing further high-quality culinary specialities from the region. A special highlight is the giant radish loaf from Therese M\u00f6lk\u2019s bakery: baked in XXL tins, the loaf is delivered by lorry and topped on site by volunteers from the Thaur Social Association with organic mountain butter, fresh radishes and cress. From 1 pm, the Blechpatrioten from Rum will take centre stage.
