From 26 September to 10 October 2026, the new Golden Autumn Sounds festival will make its debut on the sunny high plateau of Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis. As part of the traditional Culinary Autumn programme, the event transforms the Tyrolean mountains into a stage filled with music. Visitors can look forward to a unique array of top-class concerts featuring stars from the world of pop, folk music, and entertainment. There are also mountain adventures, guided fan hikes, and much more to look forward to.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Summer is quietly drawing to a close, but in Serfaus-Fiss-Lad<\/a>is, high above the Upper Inntal valley in Tyrol, things are really coming to life once again. As the days grow milder, the views stretch even further, and nature takes on its golden hues, the holiday region reveals its most atmospheric side. Here, autumn isn\u2019t just a break between seasons, but an invitation: to get out and about, breathe deeply, and simply wander along the mountain trails, enjoying culinary experiences and unforgettable moments. This special season will be set to a completely new rhythm for the first time this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Golden Autumn Sounds<\/em> debuts: a real treat for both the ears and the soul<\/strong>
Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis is launching a new autumnal highlight that will invigorate the region from 26 September to 10 October 2026: the Golden Autumn Sounds<\/a> <\/em>festival. What makes this two-week event so special is the combination of autumnal nature experiences and festive entertainment. During the day, guided fan hikes and concerts, as well as the humorous alternative programme \u201cComedy on the mountain\u201d will draw visitors to the holiday region\u2019s mountain huts and restaurants. The highlights will take place on Wednesdays (30 September and 7 October) at the big \u201cSchlager Open Air\u201d concerts right by the idyllic Lake H\u00f6gsee in Serfaus, featuring artists such as the Calimeros and Natalie Holzner. In the evenings, the Kulturhaus Fiss will be transformed into an exclusive venue for truly special musical moments: in an exceptionally intimate setting, attendees can experience well-known artists from the worlds of pop and folk music up close and personal in a way that is rarely possible. They can also enjoy the same experience at the Evergreens & Oldies Night. Stars such as Francine Jordi, Anita Hofmann, and Charly Brunner & Simone ensure unforgettable evenings where the performers really connect with the audience. Each event is deliberately kept exclusive and special, since only a limited number of day and week tickets are available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new music festival will run alongside the traditional Culinary Autum<\/a>n<\/em> programme,\u00a0which will be celebrating the regional treasures of the high plateau from 6 September 2026. Visitors can look forward to a wide variety of living traditions, crafts, and autumnal delights:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

11 to 13 September: 14th<\/sup> Tractor and Vintage Car Festival<\/em><\/strong>
A weekend for everyone who loves history on wheels: at the 14th<\/sup> Tractor and Vintage Car Festival<\/em>, visitors can admire historical agricultural machinery, cars, and motorbikes from Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, the Netherlands, and Belgium. The lovingly maintained, gleaming vehicles that rattle and roll through the village represent more than nostalgia \u2013 they are a piece of living memory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5 September to 4 October: Art on the Mountain<\/em><\/strong>
High up on the Fisser Sch\u00f6njoch, at over 2,400 metres above sea level, autumn turns into an open-air gallery. At Art on the Mountain<\/em>, artworks are created live right in front of visitors. The alpine scenery provides the inspiration: crisp air, sweeping views, and a mountain landscape that looks as if it were painted itself. The works will be available for purchase at the Finissage<\/em> on 27 September. In addition, an exhibition around the BergDiamant Panoramic Restaurant will be showcasing works by amateur artists from 5 September to 4 October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

17 to 20 September: Fiss Vintage Car Festival<\/strong>
The \u201cKlassiker in den Alpen\u201d vintage car festival in Fiss from 17 to 20 September combines stylish cars with stunning mountain scenery. The programme includes joint excursions and social evenings with live music. Vehicles manufactured up to 1996 are eligible to take part.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

19 September: Almabtrieb in Fiss<\/strong>
The Almabtrieb is a long tradition in Fiss, where the festively decorated cows symbolise the end of summer. It\u2019s one of those autumn moments that you don\u2019t just see, but feel: the ringing of the bells, the colourful wreaths, the music of the Fiss brass band, and the joy of knowing that the alpine summer has come to a successful end. A day packed with traditions, village life, and Alpine hospitality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2 to 4 October: KidVenture<\/em><\/strong>
Culinary Autumn<\/em> is an adventure for kids as well. A varied festival awaits children of all ages in Serfaus from 2 to 4 October. Numerous fun- and action-packed activities at the Serfaus Puint stage ensure plenty of exercise, variety, and beaming faces, for a family weekend that makes autumn even more colourful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8 October: Farmers\u2019 market at the museum<\/strong>
For a delightful way to round off the season, culture meets cuisine and craftsmanship at \u201cs\u2019Paules & Seppls Haus\u201d, the oldest farm in Fiss. The farmers\u2019 market in the museum showcases farm produce, handicrafts, and regional specialities in a particularly atmospheric setting. Accompanied by lively music, an autumn day unfolds that\u2019s packed with the flavour of Tyrol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
