Cycling in Tirol
With thousands of kilometres of mountain bike, cycle and road bike routes and 115 single trails, Tirol is the number one cycling country in the Alps. In contrast to demanding mountain bike and fast-paced downhill tours, Tirol’s cycle paths and long-distance cycle routes invite you to become acquainted with the country in a more leisurely manner. Over 1,000 kilometres of cycling trails offer great variety for pleasure cyclists and families – from routes without too much of an incline, to tours along rivers and rides through idyllic, unspoilt landscapes. A multi-day cycle tour is always a special experience – passing numerous famous landmarks and fabulous eateries along the way – such as the Inn Cycle Path, Via Claudia Augusta or the Drau Cycle Path.
