High alpine nature and hospitality at their finest, that’s what Gurgl in the uppermost part of Ötztal is known for. At over 2,000 meters above sea level, the Diamond of the Alps invites you to breathe deeply, relax and cool off in summer. Mountain enthusiasts and those looking for relaxation can explore the mountain world around the alpine village on foot, by bike or comfortably by mountain lift from 21 June to 15 September. The Timmelsjoch High Alpine Road as the secret gate to the south also offers superb views beyond Tirol’s borders. TOP Mountain Crosspoint or Hohe Mut Nature Park Info Point are worth a visit even in bad weather.
