Cosy & family-friendly: new accommodation in Tirol for summer 2022

From centuries-old farmsteads which have been renovated and modernised with great attention to detail to completely new hotel complexes with lots of natural materials and wonderful locations in the mountains, guests visiting Tirol in summer 2022 can look forward to new accommodation options combining a cosy atmosphere with a traditionally warm welcome for all the family.

Modern & welcoming: Natur Resort Rissbacher
The former Rissbacherhof in the village of Stumm in the Zillertal Valley has recently been modernised and transformed into the 4* Natur Resort Rissbacher. The new rooms and suites, all of which have a balcony with mountain views, are furnished with solid pine chairs, tables, cupboards, etc. Energy is drawn from renewable sources. The highlight at the resort, which is run by the Rissbacher family, is the SKY SPA on the top floor, high above the rooftops of the village, featuring a heated outdoor pool, a lounge and a selection of saunas.

Traditional & authentic: Almhof Zillertal
Dating back around 400 years, the Almhof Zillertal has a long and proud history. It is perched at 1,200 metres above sea level and has recently been modernised to include state-of-the-art bathrooms and a sauna. The building itself has kept many of its original features such as a traditional wood-burning heater and a wood-burning cooker. The Almhof Zillertal has three bedrooms sleeping up to 11 guests.

Idyllic & secluded: Boggnhof
Hidden away in a beautifully secluded location, the Boggnhof in the tiny hamlet of Stummerberg is a great place to get away from it all. This guesthouse in the Zillertal Valley offers fabulous views of the mountains from its two recently renovated holiday apartments (“Wiesnblick” and “Weitblick”) run by the Braunegger family. The former, as the name suggests, offers mainly views of lush mountain pastures, while the latter has majestic panoramas across the valley floor and beyond. Both flats are fitted with traditional wooden furniture and provide an ideal base for families and groups.

Relaxation & adventure: Leite Häusl
The village of St. Jodok in the Wipptal Valley, one of Tirol’s official Mountaineering Villages, is home to the Leite Häusl. This small accommodation which has been completely renovated in recent years enjoys a secluded location yet is just a five-minute walk from the railway station. It sleeps up to five guests, who can look forward to modern surroundings with two bedrooms, a kitchen and a bathroom with all mod-cons. Its location makes the Leite Häusl an excellent base for outdoor activities such as walking, mountain biking, mountaineering and rock climbing.

Remote & cosy: Bergler Hoamat
The Bergler Hoamat lies in the heart of a forest in the Wipptal Valley, making it a warm and cosy spot ideal for guests wishing to get back to nature. This holiday home is spread over two floors and has a total of three bedrooms, one bathroom, a separate WC and a fully equipped kitchen. There is space for two families with children or a group of eight people. The Bergler Hoamat is a fine starting point for walks and bike rides into the mountains around Navis.
