Unlimited space and possibility for your moments of personal bliss.

New: Explorer tours to the nine mountain lakes

The mountains are a place of longing and desire. They are a symbol of freedom and true natural beauty. You do not have to be a professional alpinist to discover this in the Stubai Valley. The nine most beautiful of Stubai’s mountain lakes are hidden gems of peace and inspiration where the sun’s rays glint in the crystal-clear water. Discover these beautiful tarns hidden behind rocky sculptures and steep slopes or nestled between alpine meadows. Trips to the Mutterberger See, Grünausee, Freiger See, Rinnensee, Schlicker See, Alfaier See, Falbesoner See, Turmferner See and to the Blaue Lacke are some of the most memorable holiday experiences in the Stubai Valley. Detailed tour suggestions have been created, and there is even a prize awarded to guests who visit all the lakes and document their trips.

Endless space for individual experiences: En route with the Stubai mountain cableways

The Stubai Valley’s four mountain cableways are the key to the grand holiday feeling. Glorious panorama trails and fascinating attractions are only a short ride away. Here everyone can be sure of experiencing their own personal perfect day. On hot summer days, the Stubai Glacier at over 3,000 m above sea-level provides is pleasantly cooling. Particularly when visiting the glacier’s Ice Grotto. Even higher up, at 3,210 m, the summit platform “TOP OF TYROL” offers breath-taking views. The platform is counted by GEO magazine amongst the top ten most spectacular viewing platforms worldwide. Families with children just love the Mammut adventure playground.

The Schlick 2000 hiking centre in Fulpmes also leads to new heights. Starting with the impressive backdrop of the Kalkkögel range at 2,100 m, the trail first heads to the viewing platform “StubaiBlick”, from which you can experience spectacular views. The route then leads on via theme trails such as the Nature trail or the playful disc trail to the middle station, where the Stubai treehouse path is situated. Here you are in for a surprise with the seven impressive tree houses that are just begging to be explored and ensure diverting, fun hiking trips for the whole family.

On the Elfer, Neustift’s local mountain, directly next to the mountain station, the Alps’ largest walk-in sundial awaits you. From here, daredevil paragliders launch themselves onto the thermal draughts and informative tours begin along the “Geh-Zeiten-Wege”, the trails into the Pinnistal valley and to the “Gratzengrübel” site of natural beauty.

The Serlesbahn mountain railway in Mieders opens the door to a true family paradise. At the mountain rail station Koppeneck, the Serlespark with its water playground landscapes will keep the kids amused while parents take in the amazing view. At the end of the day, you can all race down the mountain together on the summer toboggan run.

Whitewater and the majestic vastness of the mountains will help you slow down

Experience it all, without the hassle of great differences in altitude – that is the WildeWasserWeg’s forte as it leads you in three stages to some of the most beautiful waterfall scenery in the Stubai Valley. For example, the mighty Grawa waterfall, at whose feet the Grawa Observatory stands. This platform, furnished with loungers, lets visitors experience the health-promoting effects of the water up close. For ambitious hikers, the Stubai High Trail (Stubaier Höhenweg) is a classic trail, introducing you to the most enthralling parts of the valley as it traverses almost 80 km and more than 5,800 m in altitude. It passes the Seven Summits Stubai, the crowning glory for every alpinist. These seven summits are particularly distinctive and fascinating mountains, for example the highest peak in the valley – the 3,507 m high Zuckerhütl – or the 2,117 m high Serles at the gateway to the Stubai Valley, named by Goethe as the high altar.
