No matter whether you are a trail running crack, an occasional runner or a junior: when the fourth “KAT100 by UTMB® (Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc)” takes place in the PillerseeTal from 3 to 5 August, sports enthusiasts of all levels will lace up their running shoes.

For three days, they will run along the most beautiful trails through the Kitzbühel Alps – on more or less sweat-inducing routes: The fittest compete in the “100 Miles Trail” (170.7 kilometres) – the longest ultra trail in Austria. No less challenging are the “KAT100 Marathon Trail” (48.2 kilometres) and the “KAT100 Speed Trail” (24.2 kilometres). But don’t worry, it can also be done in a more relaxed way: Those who like can take on eight kilometres and fight for their personal best time on the “Easy Trail”. Even the youngest will show what they can do on the “Kids Trail” over various distances.

On all three days of the event, the start and finish area in Fieberbrunn will feature an expo area with well-known exhibitors showing the latest equipment trends.

By the way: This year, the KAT100 is one of 35 international events in the “UTMB World Series” with finals at the “UTMB Mont-Blanc” – and has thus arrived in the Champions League of trail running.
